About 2empowerFM Plug-ins

Expand FileMaker's abilities, create a better user experience, and save development time with the 2empowerFM Family of Plug-ins. Originally developed to serve the business needs of a real-world company, these plug-ins are now available to the rest of the FileMaker community. Packed with features, they offer many ways to empower your FileMaker solutions:

- Search to find text within scripts or database fields

- Create dialogs with unlimited controls: buttons, stylized text, menus, and more

- Pop-up multi-level menus anywhere

- Print "hands free" with scriptable printer selection and control of all options

- Run SQL statements on FileMaker data

- Read and write clipboard data including stylized text, FileMaker scripts, and layout objects

- Make anything clickable by checking where the mouse was last clicked

- Perform regular-expression search and replace in strings with advanced Perl-compatible syntax

- Generate a hash of data using many algorithms: SHA512, MD5, TR1, etc.

- Draw on your layout to create conditional buttons, hints in empty fields, tabs spanning databases, and more

...and much more.

What's New

- Updated Developer Assistant to work in Windows FileMaker 11.

- Developer Assistant can now find additional special characters, making it quick and easy to find broken scripts containing '' or ''.

- Fixed an incompatibility with FileMaker 11 that caused Macintosh plug-ins to fail to work with the 2empowerFM manual.

- Fixed compatibility issues between FileMaker 11 and Macintosh Dialogs Unlimited, Layout Painter, Menu Popper, window variables, and Keyboard and Mouse.

- Menu Popper now supports the coordinate system returned by GetLayoutObjectAttribute() while maintaining support for the older FieldBounds() FileMaker function.

- Menu Popper documentation was re-written with other plug-ins soon to follow.
