Okay so I am just trying to get a script to be able to look through each task record and get the task ID and then paste the task ID to a custom dialog as a type of alert system. So basically the user clicks a trigger button and an alert pops up using custom dialog or however, which then tells them each task ID that is associated with their name... I can't get the field to concatenate each of the previous ID's in with it, it just pastes the last field read. Any ideas?

You seems to be on a plain not advanced version, so you can't benefit from the use of custom functions, so most of it needs to be scripted.

Perhaps when you describe yourself as intermediate, would have sufficient knowledge in applescripting and it's implementation in filemaker to stuff a call to this free plugin in a calc'field?
