UK postcode search or similar?

Does anyone know if i can group records by areas, for example i need to find away of finding out the details of and rough distance of each record or customers in my case next nearest geographical customer within the database,

it would also be great to group records by geographical areas to so different sets of records can be given to different sales teams by area.
