Category relationship - one to show up in many

This is how my relationship looks like now.

Example file can be downloaded from HERE.

Relationship works until I have categories that should be related to more than one mainline.

I have two mainlines called clothing and cloth/fabric. Then I have category called Shirts.

As T-shirts are fabric and clothing, it should appear and be related to both mainlines, how to make it so? Currently its only possible to join it with one mainline.

Example file describes better what I am trying to achieve. Comments included.

How do I make it work? Thanks in advance.

Update:

I added a jointable to fix the problem, but is this the only way to go? Or is there a better way?

Im still having several problems when trying to make data select for items (valuelists won't sort correctly). First valuelist should show all mainlines, second should show only related to mainline (that works), but the third valuelist shows all subcategories, not only the related ones...
