FMPasteboard v1.2 released -- ready for FileMaker 11

Frankfurt, Germany - April 13, 2010 - qutic development announces the new version 1.2 of FMPasteboard.

WHAT IS IT

FMPasteboard is a FileMaker Advanced extension for storing and changing FileMaker objects. You can copy and paste Layouts, Tables, Fields, Scripts and Custom Functions in one go as editable xml text.

Together with the free and open FMPasteboard-Archive database you can use it as an Asset Management for your own FileMaker objects. Re-use scripts, buttons or Custom Functions, etc.

Layouts, Tables, Fields, Scripts or Custom Functions could be copied out of the pasteboard of FileMaker Advanced and stored for a later use. With FMPasteboard you can easily paste them back if you need to use them again.

WHAT IS NEW IN VERSION 1.2

Now with FileMaker 11 it is possible to copy and paste Custom Functions! FMPasteboard is supporting this new feature too!

We also added a new function for getting the type of a FileMaker pasteboard and an automatic registration of the plug-in after each startup of FileMaker – you only need to register once!

The FMPasteboard-Archive Asset Management database was adapted to the new features in FileMaker 11.

All clients who purchased a license in 2010 will get a free update.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum requirement is FileMaker Advanced 8 and MacOS X 10.3.9. The plug-in is a universal binary and runs on Intel- and PowerPC-based Mac computer. FileMaker 11 and MacOS X 10.6 Snow Leopard are fully supported.
