April 13, 201015 yr Hi there, I'm producing a solution for a service based business. When they quote/invoice, there are often several discrete items as part of the same service. To aid clarity, they would like to add descriptive text to each group of items (this is standard, but changes for each service they provide). For example: Descriptive text for service 1 Item 1 service 1 12m £5 Item 2 service 1 5m £4 Descriptive text for service 2 Item 3 service 2 4m £8 Is there a way to achieve this using sub summaries? Since the descriptive text is static and I don't require intermediate totals, ideally I would like to achieve this with a direct relationship between the invoice and line items. April 13, 201015 yr Author i've now tried implementing this with a join table, but I can't get it display appropriately using list view and summary's... I'm beginning to think this is not possible, but would welcome any suggestions for more experienced developers. Many thanks, James
