Newbies skysceltis Posted April 28, 2010 Newbies Posted April 28, 2010 We have a small workgroup with 5 users running FMP v 11. We have a 6th copy of FMP 11 running on a separate computer to host our application. We do not have the FMP Server software (yet). I would describe our FileMaker traffic as light (subjective I know...). We do not store many documents in our FMP system (yet) but would like this to increase. Can we expect good performance of SuperContainer (Workgroup license) without server software? Thanks, SC
Smef Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Yes, SuperContainer works very well in stand-alone mode. You can run SuperContainer in stand-alone mode by running the SuperContainerServer.jar file, which will launch an application on your computer which you will need to leave open for users to access SuperContainer. You can download a demo of SuperContainer from our website and give it a try.
