Portal intermittent printing problems

A selected portal in my invoicing db is printing sporadically or rather "on top" of the page hiding all of the line graphics behind the portal and extends down into the non portal area. I have been able to reformat the portal and it goes a way for a day and then is back the next. I can move the "infected" portal to the extreme right (off the page) and the invoice will print correctly. This has just started in the last 2 weeks along with an intermitent and sporadic bolding of characters within fields.

Does anyone have any similar experience and what is the solution to correcting the error?
