Converting Excel with Macros to Filemaker?

Does anybody know if this is possible?

A friend (a PC user) has put together an Excel file which searches eBay without having to actually visit eBay itself.

I tried to run it on my Mac but I get a message saying that I can't run Visual Basic scripts.

Any help would be most appreciated.
