squidley Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 (edited) I have Filemaker Server 10 installed on a Macmini with OS X Server (Snow Leopard) installed. I can easily upload and open a remote Filemaker DB over my local network. What I can't figure out is how to open access the DB over the internet via our fixed IP. Can someone help me with this or point me to where the instructions are for this? My goal is to allow coworkers to access this DB from their homes via the internet. They each have FM10 client installations. To clarify, I want them to be able to open the actual FM Database, not via a web browser. Thanks! Edited May 11, 2010 by Guest
Steven H. Blackwell Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Be sure that Port 5003 is open on the firewall and forwarded to the "Server" machine. Steven
