Does anyone know how to edit the startup splash screen in Filemaker Pro 5. I'd like to place my own logo or animation in the startup procedure. If anyone knows the answer please do not hesitate to respond at [email protected]

If you are on a Mac, there is a utility that allows you to edit the properties of programs and icons, etc. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of that utility but any Mac-Head would know what it is. I used it to change a FMP splash screen several years ago. To my knowledge, there is no such program for windows.

If you are binding the solution, you can tell it to supress the splash screen all together and then you can add your own instead. I have added my own using a FMP layout; however, I was poking around here looking to find out how I could add a "real" splash screen instead, so if anyone knows, please let me know. Thanks!
