Add Grey Background - without printing it.

I would like to add a grey background without printing it. I can easily add a background color by choosing a fill color in the part...but this prints. I do not want to waste toner and a white background is usually better for prints.

I am using a simple technique of creating a square, filling it with grey and making the object non-printing. I set the anchors to fill the screen no matter the zoom factor or screen size. This works but is much to tedious when dealing with many and complex layouts.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
