Not sure if this is in the right place?

I am trying to move over a database curently in FilePro to Filemaker. I need to automatically insert data into a field dependent on the current date. EG we add £10.00 to a field for an amount due and a date to another field (Or these could be in a portal record) if the current date is higher than the 'due date' on file, as in a monthly amount adding each month to an account.We need to keep approx 1 or 2 years worth of amounts due and amounts paid along with the dates. I can do this easily in Excel. Any ponters would be appreciated. (Only starting out with Filemaker so a bit of a newbie) < Mike
