stefwef
Is there a way to disable the drop down menu "change password" option for individual accounts AND for the admin account? Thx!
Vaughan
Yes... uncheck the "allow the user to change their password" option in the privilege set.
Steven H. Blackwell
FileMaker Pro does not allow modification of the [Full Access] Privilege Set, but it does allow modifications for subordinate level Privilege Sets. So, disabling the change password feature will, as Vaughan notes, disable the user's ability to change the password through the UI if that user's Account is attached to a subordinate level Privilege Set. Of note: this does not disable the button on the initial credentials challenge modal dialog. However when the user attempts to change the password, FileMaker Pro will throw a privileges error dialog and disallow the action. Steven
stefwef
Thank you! I actually had it all set up that way and got confused while testing because the option came up... It's all very clear now.
