I am trying to transfer a specific database from FMPro 9 Adv on my desktop to my FMGo app on my iPhone but cannot find a way to do this.

Can anyone assist?

Use iTunes. Go to the Apps tab, scroll down to the File Sharing section. FM Go should be listed there. Use the Add button.

Although I have lived here a long time, I don't know your brother but given that there are thousands of expats in Bangkok that is not surprising.
