RecordSet always return EOF

I'm using a tool to export from FM to SQL Server. It's work well when the FM's files are on the local network but when i'm using Internet, i'm got problems:

I'm opening files in FM like usual via 'host' option (all companions are checked). Then, I'm connection using ODBC and it's still work at this point. It's when I'm opening the recordset object that thinks are not like they should to be. The recordset is always empty (EOF = true)! In fact, I got datas in FM files. And I can see that FM'process still working hard but it's to late, recorset is empty.

Someone can help me please,

Thank you,

Nick

Is there only one copy of the FM DB on your server, this can someitmes cause problems.
