I am installing FM Server Advanced 11 on a new Apple Server. Does anyone know how to set the ports on FM server to something other than 80? Port 80 is reserved for http website. Thanks a bunch!

Randy

FM Server works with Apache, so your existing web site should continue to work.

Have you actually had a problem yet or are you prematurely optimising? :)

Well I am trying to access it with IWP. When I went to the IP address of the server it does not connect. I think that maybe I have to setup the ports on my router so I have to know which port IWP connects through. I know 80 is reserved for the my home web page so how can FM connect using the same port?

What URL are your trying to access the database with?

Is the database set up for IWP?

Try connecting to the Sample file first as test. It's installed in FMS by default.
