We are building a web based application using ASP that uses a Com component developed in VB to access data from Filemaker pro5.0 database. We are getting an error message 'Request properties are not supported by this ODBC driver. This is happening when you try to query the same record (or same database table) more than once in a session (in different pages).

What we feel is the record being accessed is being locked by the driver for sometime and hence this conflict is occuring. We need a solution for this. Requirements is Multiple users should be able to access the same record at a time from filemaker using a vb com component in ASP pages.

Thanks in advance

I am very interesting in knowing more about the COM you use, since I would like to do the same thing (ASP, IIS, ODBC, Filemaker).

CAn you give me more information?

THanks a lot!
