Hi there everybody !

I have a fmpro 10 solution shared with IWP.

My problem it's next one: if an user connects with his account/pwd, next user trying to access the information with the same credentials don't have access.

Do you know how to solve this issue ?

Best regards,

BOZZ

ext user trying to access the information with the same credentials

Users should have unique credentials.

Ok, ok, everybody has unique credentials.

Now, if u are trying to connect with one credentials's users over IWP, and than from another computer u are using same credentials, u can access it.

I want to cut this problem.

At the present time, neither FileMaker Pro nor FileMaker Server enforces limitations on multiple simultaneous log-on.

If you are using FileMaker Server Advanced, External Server Authentication, and a domain controller (either Active Directory or Open Directory) you can enforce this prohibition at the Domain level.

FMI is aware of the usefulness of a feature such as you describe.

It is possible that some ersatz workaround could be constructed, but I wouldn't want to rely on it.

Thanks very much for your answer.

I just start to build a workaround, on which each user "sign" in a flag with "1" if connects.

After next user try to connect, script find this flag on, so goes you to a restricted page, which describe the fact "Another connection, bla, bla, bla" - the only active button been exit.
