i have built a solution that authors (many) reports and saves them as PDFs. i need to create a thumbnail image of the cover of each report and save it as a PNG or JPEG. i would love for this to be scriptable . i cant find a plugin that does this and it seams that there would be a need for this. does any one know a of a product that i can buy or of a simple solution to this problem??

This is pretty straight forward, with a container field somewhere!

Enter Preview Mode 

Copy[ ][ Select ] 

Enter Browse Mode 

Go to Field [ sfsdfsdf::aContainer ]

Paste [ ] [ Select ]

Export Field Contents [ sfsdfsdf::aContainer; “file:test.png” ]

I tried this, and in FM 11 it exports the contents as a PDF. So when I try to open the PNG it will not open, but if you open it in a text editor it is clearly a PDF.
