Value Lists derived from privilege sets on-the-fly.

Featured Replies

I'd like to create a value list of all my privilege sets on the fly from existing privilege sets. I'm guessing that's not possible, and it's not like I have that many privilege sets. I'm just checking -- can this be done?

Edit: Sorry I put this in the wrong section. I thought I had put this under 'value lists'. If an editor wants to move it, that works for me. :yay:

Why create a value list of privilege set names? They should not be user-selectable.

Is this for a user account management system? If so I don't think you want to display the real privilege set names since it would not be desirable to have all the default privilege sets (like full access) appear. Instead, create a custom value list with human-readable names and use this in the scripts that manage the accounts.

I want to use a portal for navigation. Someone with full access would be allowed to edit the list. I imagine it would make things easier for a pull-down listing which privilege set would be allowed to view the list items.
