I have some password protected files created in FMP5 and converted to .fp7 format. I have been using them successfully in FMP10, but after a recent upgrade to FMP11, my password does not work any more. I can still open the file with FMP10, but of course I want to work with all files in FMP11.

Any ideas?

What error message displays when you try to use the password?

"The account and password you entered cannot be used to access this file. Please try again"

Note that I can open several other password protected files that were created with FMP9 or FMP10.

I have just discovered that the problem is due to FMP11 entering the registered user name (my full name) in the account field, but the account with access privileges in the file is just my first name.
