I have FM3 on 1 windows mach and a bunch of macs. 2 files are constantly crashing only when used on the windows machine. They are being recovered at a constant rate. The major problem is we seem to be losing information in those crashing files. I havecreated a clean copy, and recovered the files to try and find a corrupt file, but it all works fine on the mac.

It seems also, over the weekend, a few of the fields disappeared in one of the files.

What is the pc doing when it crashes? Do you get an error message? On the pc check the print driver, it is the source of many crashes with FM. If it is a laser printer I sugguest the HPLJ 4 driver. There are also problems with video drivers. Turn hardware acel to none(in display prop, setting, advanced, performance).With the crashes you are describing probably have corruption in your db. Create a clone, export data as unformatted text to a text file (tab or comma delim), recover clone, and import text file into clone. Short of rebuilding db that is about as clean as you can get the db.
