brosiusad Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 I have a user reporting that they just updated to Java 1.6.0_22 on their OSX 10.6 machine and now SuperContainer is showing just the Java "coffee cup". I can't access their system directly (it's behind a VPN), so I can't test. And I have not yet updated my OSX machine so I can do my own local testing (mostly b/c of this potential issue). Can anybody confirm or deny that the 1.6.0_22 update breaks SC on OSX? Thanks, Artie
jamesducker Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 No idea, as I don't use SC, but you could sort your remote access problem out at www.teamviewer.com - both download it and you can connect straight away. Free & doesn't need port forwarding or Admin rights to install. Hope that helps a bit... J
Smef Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 I can confirm that the latest update does not break SuperContainer access. It sounds like your user is stuck with the popup asking them to confirm that they would like to allow the applet to run. Make sure that they have not clicked past this popup accidentally, and that it is not getting hidden behind their browser window.
