Server Instance will not run on 2008

I cannot get the installer.jar to actually start the server. It says it installs correctly and I have carefully manually installed too. I have the directory c:/x86 Program Files / and is where FileMaker Server is installed. This is Server 2008 and manually starting the SuperContainer as a standalone works fine. Is the X86 directory path an issue? What am I missing. I have instructed the manually started Super Container to use 8020 as I have Crush FTP on 8080. But as I said it works find manually starting on 8020. Thank You

When you run the installer.jar file SuperContainer is installed as part of the FileMaker server service. Because of this, there is no interface which you will see.

SuperContainer running with FileMaker server uses the FileMaker server WPE, and so will operate on port 80, rather than 8020. 80 is the default port, so you will not need to add that to your URL.

Log on to your server and check and see if SuperContainer is running by going to http://localhost/SuperContainer in your browser on the server. If you can see it here but not from other computers then you are having a network issue and will need to adjust your firewall or port forwarding.
