making tabs with two databases

Featured Replies

i have two databases linked by an auto generated ID.

i set up two tabs in the layout mode. i put all records from database a on the first and the b on the second. when i run it all the information is shown on the first tab (overlapping). thanks for any help.

Three possibilities come to mind. Admittedly, none are especially likely, but perhaps this will help to rule out possibilities:

1. If an object extends off the tab panel, even by a pixel, it will show on all tabs of the tab panel (this is actually useful sometimes, but not what you're trying to do)

2. I have occasionally seen a glitch when trying to put a tab panel within another tab panel, where tabs of the inside panel resized independently. Really odd and not consistent, and I'm not sure which version I was in at the time, but in any case replacing the tab panel resolved the issue.

3. If you open a file with a tab panel with FMP7, the tab panel, which FMP7 doesn't recognize, would show something like you describe.
