jptrue Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Hello, I have been using ScriptMaster successfully for about 2 weeks, and was very impressed. I was able to add the Pdfbox-App-1.3.1.Jar library easily. Debugging and using the module I created with the PdfBox library and ScriptMaster IDE worked great. Then I bought a registered copy to create a plugin. When installed, the plugin with my custom module completely crashes FileMaker on startup. Any tips or ideas? Thanks, Jeff
Smef Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 (edited) What version of Java are you using? I recommend using the latest version, which is 6_22. Also, make sure you are using the latest version of ScriptMaster, which is 4.02 Also, do you have any other plugins installed? Edited November 16, 2010 by Guest

Smef Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 What version of the SuperContainer companion plugin is that?

Smef Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 can you send me the scriptmaster file you are using to build the plugin? I would like to test it and see if we can reproduce this issue using your module and scriptmaster file.
jptrue Posted November 18, 2010 Author Posted November 18, 2010 Sure, What is the best way to send you the file? Thanks, Jeff
Smef Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Either Email or through our file uploader on our contact page at http://360works.com/upload/
jptrue Posted November 22, 2010 Author Posted November 22, 2010 OK, I uploaded it on Friday. Let me know if it did not get through. Thanks again, Jeff
Newbies Katie McGettrick Posted December 18, 2010 Newbies Posted December 18, 2010 Hi there, Can I ask if you are a windows or a mac user? I've been having a similar issue with modules that I generate with jar files embedded. Interestingly it doesn't cause a problem on the mac just windows. I've tried generating a plugin containing just one of their own modules but with jar files and it still causes a crash. There is no problem with generating a module without jar files. Very frustrating I'm quite stuck and thinking I should just roll back to the free version which means lots of work wasted.
Smef Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 There seems to be a problem generating windows plugins with additional jar files. We've reproduced this issue and are working on a fix.
Cabinetman Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Was this ever fixed? I'm looking to buy but I have several jars that are needed. I've written a bunch of scripts that I want to generate a plugin for so I don't have so many variables loading......
Smef Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Yes, this is fixed in the current version of the plugin.
