We are hosting SuperContainer on server which is at WAN address 66.208.251.86

My hosting path is http://localhost:8020/SuperContainer/Files

If there are uses the remote in, do I use the local host address or the WAN address.

Thanks

Scott

Localhost only works to access the machine you are currently working on, so it will only work if people are using remote desktop to log onto your server and then work on filemaker pro from there. You generally don't want people working directly on the server, so this probably isn't what you're doing.

If your users VPN into your network or use a service like gotomyPC to access a computer on your internal network you can use a local IP address, but not "localhost."

If your users are trying to access the database outside of your network you will need to use a public IP address, and possibly set up port forwarding.
