Soliant Consulting is pleased to announce a new one-day, hands-on "Developing for FileMaker Go" training course in Chicago, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Philadelphia beginning in January, 2011.

The course takes students through all the practical issues in extending a database to FileMaker Go and the iPhone/iPad platform. It covers layout optimization, scripting considerations, security, performance, error handling, and dives into both advanced techniques and real world use cases.

The curriculum is based on the new FileMaker Go module of the authorized FileMaker Training Series, announced today from FileMaker, Inc., and it is augmented with additional material culled from Soliant's consulting practice.

Deeply versed in this new product from FileMaker, Inc., Soliant Consulting authored both the FileMaker Go Technical Brief as well as the FileMaker Training Series module on FileMaker Go. We have also presented on the topic at user group meetings, in webinars, and at the FileMaker Developer Conference.
