I have three tables about colleges and wish to combine them into one table. Each has unique fields, ranging from 60 to 170 or so fields; the key field of each is the same. All the advice I've read says to combine such tables into one table, rather than joining them with one-to-one joins. I'll then do searching and filtering on the table/format. My problem/question is that I have not been able to figure out how to get Filemaker to do this for me. I've read and re-read the documentation and I'm missing something. I know how to combine the tables using Excel and vlookup, but is there a better way using FM capabilities? I have FM 11 Pro, not Advanced.
