I would like to ask for help regarding Find Scripts. I need to find records for a certain value from a value list. Unfortunately, I don't know how to execute a script that asks which value from a value list, I want to have the value list "pop-up" in a window (i've seen it somewhere but i couldn't remember where). i'm really not familiar with creating find scripts, only with simply execution.

It sounds to me like you want a new window to open, allowing the user to pick a value from a list, then find all records that match that value. I this correct?

If so, then you can script this entire process. Just think it through one step at a time...

open new window

go to layout

enter find mode

pause (to allow user entry)

perform find

go to layout

... something along those lines
