Newbies Jaybee Posted February 10, 2011 Newbies Posted February 10, 2011 Hi. I have used FM Pro for a number of years but have not used plugins before and do not know much about Java. I have downloaded and set up the 360Works email plugin and got it to work fine yesterday using the downloaded email client as a starting point. I was able to send and receive files. On opening the file today, I am receiving a "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space" error message. I have seen previous posts stating that I need to create a file '/Library/Application Support/360FmKit/memorysize' and I have tried to do this by creating a text file with the text 'java -Xms128m -Xmx128m' and placing this in the /Library/Application Support/360FmK folder. This is where I think I am going wrong but have not been able to establish what I should be doing!! Could someone please assist. Many thanks
Smef Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Make sure your file doesn't end in .txt, it should just be "memorysize" as the filename. Also, you will probably need to restart filemaker after adding this file.

I have both restarted FileMaker and the computer at least twice since setting up the file but there is still a problem. Do you think I could have set up the file incorrectly? Thanks
Smef Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Give me a call or message me on skype/AIM and we cna do screen sharing and I can take a look at your system.
Smef Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Clarification on this issue. The file should contain just "128" and not the "java -Xms128mm" and all that.
