Hi,

I have a list of clients in an excel spreadsheet, and I would like to batch edit a field in the file maker database based on that list of clients. I am a novice on FileMaker scripting, so here is what I've tried. I've tried using custom dialog to get input (thinking about copy-and-pasting here) from the spreadsheet, but I am not even sure if custom dialog supports multiple line of user inputs. I've tried using open file to grab the client key from the excel spreadsheet, but am not successful. I would appreciate it if someone could give me some directions on this.
