Newbies donb Posted September 5, 2001 Newbies Posted September 5, 2001 I have FMP server 3.0v4 running on a G4 with OS 9.04. It has been fine for a year and a half, last week it crashed. It restarted fine and everything works except the automatic restart script. It is a 2 line applescript that tells FMP to quit and the finder to restart. If you double click on the script in the finder FMP quits and the machine restarts, but it will not work when called through FMP Schedules, even though it worked fine before the crash. I'm stumped and I need to restart the machine each day for some Today & Current date calculations to work. Anyone have any ideas?
Vaughan Posted September 13, 2001 Posted September 13, 2001 Use the Energy Saver control panel to schedule regular restarts.
Newbies donb Posted September 20, 2001 Author Newbies Posted September 20, 2001 I figured it out. On the Schedules page I had selected "Apply to all Databases" If you choose "No databases" the script works. Thanks for all the suggestions.
