Some background

Filemaker Server 3.0

Filemaker Client 4.1

When I open filemaker click on host find the server then open the main database window, every file with an fp3 extension open also (the program does work but 15 tabs(fp3 files) appear below the main database window). I was told that this database became corrupted 6 months ago and they called someone in to get it up and running again. Before the database became corrupted I was informed that only the main database window appeared. Can anyone point in the right direction to make only the main window appear again? Thanks for any help
