Importing a folder MPEG files

Hi Everyone.

I am aware that one can import a folder of Quicktime files (or, as in this case, a reference) directly into a Filemaker DB (dragging various metadata along with it).

I'm wondering if anyone knows how to import a folder of MPEG files and achieve the same result?
