How to Grayed out /Disable submenu from menu list

Featured Replies

Dear All,

I dont know whether it is very easy task but i am not aware about this fact so sorry if it is common and easy task.

My query is when we create the custom menu how can we disable or grayed the submenu option. for more clarification please see attached screen shot.

Here in picture i want to disable "Admin" submenu from file menu in certain condition like according to user type it should be disable or enable.

Lots of Thanks,

Hello

Please tell me how it is possible to change or grayed out the color of custom menu item? is it really possible or not?

No, you cannot gray out menu items. FMP will gray-out items based on native commands (such as new record) if those commands are disabled, but we (developers) cannot do that for menu items not based on native commands.

You can allow the item to be selected but display an alert if it should not be used, or switch menu sets to one that does not have the item displayed.
