BobWeaver Posted February 15, 2001 Posted February 15, 2001 Did your Global Village modem come with the OCR software. I'm not sure if it still ships with it or not. If it does, you save the fax as text and then drag it into a filemaker document. Otherwise, you can copy the fax as a graphic and store it in a container field in Filemaker. If possible, it's a good idea to save both the text and the graphic in two separate fields in a record. That way you have an exact copy of the fax as a graphic, and you also have a text version in case you want to search for a fax. Cut and paste should work. You can probably make things a bit more automatic with some additional work. See, we can be nice if we really want to.
