kim Posted May 1, 2001 Posted May 1, 2001 I've been trying to figure this out for a couple of days now, and I am now confused and not sure what to do.... I want to save my output to a PDF instead of to the printer. I can do it manually when I get the Print dialog box and check off all the settings (Destination:To File, Save as:Acrobat PDF, etc.) I'm thinking that I would have to use Applescript to hard code these settings....the questions is how do I do that. I've been looking for a sample in Applescript, and have been unsuccessful thus far. Any help would greatly be appreciated.....Kim
WBlanchard Posted May 1, 2001 Posted May 1, 2001 Get a copy of PDFWriter [shareware]. That will allow you to have a printer option that will create a .pdf file of your output
BobWeaver Posted May 2, 2001 Posted May 2, 2001 Since the PDF writer looks just like a printer to your computer, see my post in the FAQ forum on switching printers.
