Fields with no access

hey folks,

quick question, I'm working on two databases, on Database B, my field "SS" grabs info from Database A, I need both fields to have no access, which is easy enough, but I want to be able to create new records in Database A with functionality to add information in the "SS" field. When I create a new record I still don't have access to that field, I'd like to enter content and then have it go to no access. Any ideas?
