What limitations?

DocuBin requires an internet connection to download plugin updates, periodically check your license key, and (possibly) access FileMaker server. If DocuBin or SuperContainer is hosted with FileMaker Server at your office, you will definitely need an internet connection to access DocuBin away from your office. Otherwise, DocuBin will be able to work offline for up to 7 consecutive days. This is because the LicenseCheck plugin regularly checks to see if you have a valid license, makes sure you haven't exceed your user limit, added more users, etc., but allows you to be offline for 7 days without running this check.
