I've figured out how to send an email from "Send Mail" script step. I use

"send Mail" script step with a global text field in FM to pass the entire

contens of the field to the body of email. But the font size of the

contents is too big (default 12). Is there any way to control the font

size automatically before/after the contents of the fields sent/pass to

the body of the mail ?

Thanx..

The send mail script step only creates plain text ascii mail messages (henceforth referred to as "porpper" e-mail mesages <grin> ). The final size and font is determined by the mail client reader program, nothing else.

If you want to control the text appearance, you need to send html or rich text e-mail messages. I don't think that the send mail script step can do html formatted mail.

Including html codes in the mail mesage is *not* the same, it's got to do with mail headers and stuff.

While it is true you cannot use the Send Mail script step to send HTML emails, you can send HTML emails if you need to. Our emailing plug-in, SMTPit, will allow you to send HTML emails easily. If you are interested in testing it out, you can download a full working demo, with full working example databases at our website:

If you have any questions about it, please feel free to email us.
