CNSimage crashes FMPA11

I downloaded and am testing the new CNSimage plug-in today and was hoping to use it to resize existing images in container fields in our customer databases. Unfortunately there are a number of images that cause FMPA11 to crash with the CNSimage_Resize command. I've been trying to workaround this by testing the image with the CNSimage_GetInfo command first, without success. All of the images appear to be jpegs. Some of the offending images cannot be displayed by FMP, but some can. Some of the offending images return an error from GetInfo but others do not. Does anybody have a workable solution to this? We're talking 1000's of images. Also, I'm doing my testing on a MacBook running Windows 7 under Bootcamp, and FMPA11.0.2 - a platform probably not tested by CNS.
