dansmith65 Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 When using ScriptMaster Advanced to generate a plug-in, the generated plug-in will not load if a url was entered as help text. If I remove the help text, or enter my name, the generated plug-in works properly. I believe I got the same error when I tried putting an email, and possibly also when I entered more than one line of information in the Help Text field. To me, it seems to be a bug involving special characters (/, :, @, and possibly ¶). Can this be fixed?
Smef Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Thanks for reporting this. We'll do some testing and see if we can reproduce this issue.
Smef Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 I've done some testing on this and it looks like having :/ in the help description of a custom plugin causes filemaker to crash when it is launching. We'll work on a fix for this. For now I recommend avoiding having :/ in your help text as a workaround.
