FileMaker Crashes When Printing from a Script

Greetings All,

I'm running network of FMP 3.0v6 clients on Windows NT and 2000 -- no Macs. The files are hosted on an FMP 3.x Server. All of the software & hardware is latest / greatest except for FileMaker.

The problem that I am having happens when a client runs a script that contains a print setup step, and the printer that was originally used is no longer available. The script seems to be looking for the old printer and when it can't find the printer it crashes the client.

I can fix this by going to each client workstation, choosing an available printer, editing the script and then choosing to replace the print setup. This works fine but it is a lot of work to go to every client workstation and edit every script that contains a print setup line.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Doug L.
