Portal not updating.

Hi all,

In my solution I'm using a portal. The relationship is very easy: id (unique value) to id_x. (one-to-many)

On my layout the portal is placed on a TabControl Panel.

I've placed an icon in the portal row for adding a new record in a new window..

Clicking on the icon a new window opens, I enter the data and I close the window.

Nothing happens in my portal until I switch to another record or lay-out and back.

When I enter the data directly in the portal everything is ok.

Older postings told me it is a refresh issue but I wasn't able to find a working solution.

Somebody knows what is happening here?

Your help will be much appreciated.

PS. Just found out that deleting a record works fine, the portal redraws as it should do.

again 3 minutes later....

I'm using dat separation so de the data resides in another FM file as the layout(s)
