hi all,

i've set up a printing layout with a merge field for the text which can be quite large so i've expanded the field for 3 pages. however, when i print, whether through a script or menu, it will print all records on one page unless the the field contains about 20 lines. less than that it prints each record indivually, as it should. it' slides fine in layout and on the printed page but i just can't figure out why it's printing all records on one page when the text field has less than a certain amount of space used.

i've removed the scripts, deleted them, made a new page with new scripts and the same thing, even using the menu print command. page setup is standard letter, etc. i've looked at everything i can think of.

Set the body part (double-click on the part label in Layout mode) option to make a bage break before each record to make each record begin on a new page.
