Barcode Label Maker

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am barcode labeling my inventory with FM on Avery 5160 sheets.

Each label repesents a unique (non serialized) ID. Most of the time this is fine.

However,I would love to be able to print ie. 10, 4, 2, 12 each of four of these IDS....without wasting so much paper.

Is there a work around with the 5160s?

I tried a Dymo 450 Turbo yesterday.... but it was really a hassle and kept crashing FM (tried 4 different Macs OS 10.4 to 10.5 - FM 8.5, 9 and 10)

Is there another label mker that works well with FM. I'd pay to get what I want.

Very Best

Chas

OK... after a week, I cooled off and got the Dymo 450 to work with my macbook (core 2 duo - os 10.5.8)

A few days after my initial troubles I got an email from Dymo saying:

"Regarding your request " Labelwriter 450 Turbo Label v8.3.1 on Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger; unable to print from Filemaker Pro 10 Adv". Unfortunately we don't support this Filemaker version Pro 10. This is due tht they have change their softwar since version 8 and therefore is not supported.

I would advise you to try the solutions we got till version 8 but I cannot promess you that it will work."

10 is working now, I've heard that 11 will work as well.

Best

Chas
