Can I make buttons invisible to a printer?

Hi,

I was trying to make a database that I could also use as a printed form. I had some buttons at the top of the layout to add a new record, and delete etc. Is there a way that I can have these buttons be excluded from the printed version? other than creating a separate layout with a ascripted button that switches you to it and prints and then switches you back....?
