Newbies Sukanya Posted October 22, 2011 Newbies Posted October 22, 2011 Correct or not... Docubin is simply a beautiful means to store all of one's files into a container and to access it in a simple and easy to understand UI? Docubin is not intentioned to interact with the FMP database solution as a click and insert application. It is simply a more elaborate document library, say, like eDoc Organizer? Do I understand this correctly? Thanks a lot. It is the difference between spending thousands of dollars, or not, on something I am confused about.
Michael Gaslowitz Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 One of the reasons we chose to build DocuBin with FileMaker was so you could integrate it with other FileMaker databases. You will not be able to simply copy layout elements from DocuBin into your solution, but we do provide developer scripts for linking records in your database to documents in DocuBin. I suggest first taking a look at our developer documentation, and the Sample database that comes with the DocuBin download.
